A diverse coalition of immigrant groups across New York State vowed today to hold the President and Congress accountable for turning promise into reality, words into action, and a broken system into one that keeps families together, strengthens our economy, and upholds our values as a nation.

In response to advocacy by a diverse coalition of groups, Governor Cuomo announced late this afternoon that all New Yorkers would be able to vote by paper ballot (known as an affidavit ballot) at any polling place in the state, and that all such ballots would be counted.
