How to Obtain DOJ Recognition and Accreditation (ONA Sponsored!)

In this webinar, we will cover in detail the requirements for obtaining DOJ Recognition (formerly BIA Recognition) for your non-profit agency so that it may provide immigration legal services through Accredited Representatives. We also will cover the requirements for obtaining accreditation for individual non-attorney employees of recognized agencies and discuss the recent changes to the Recognition and Accreditation program.

 

This webinar will be conducted by Erica Watson, Immigrant Support Services Training Associate at the NYIC. CLE credit is not available for this course.

Eligibility: Participants MUST be employed at New York State-based nonprofits or legal service providersUpon registration, participants will be asked for proof of employment and a signed letter of attestation, which will be provided at the time of registration. Participants may also be asked for 501(c)(3) designation or additional proof of nonprofit status. Registration will not be considered complete without confirmation of employment and a signed letter of attestation.
