This Friday marks the one month anniversary since the Nepal government formally requested that the United States designate their country for Temporary Protected Status (TPS), yet the Department of Homeland Security has still not given an answer. It has been nearly six weeks since the first in a series of violent earthquakes and aftershocks destroyed much of the infrastructure in that country and left thousands homeless. TPS will help the thousands of Nepalis in the United States on temporary non-work authorized visas or who are undocumented obtain work permits – so they can work and help rebuild Nepal - and travel authorization so that they can go home and check on loved ones.

Please join us for a Thunderclap (http://thndr.it/1FRNkg3) that will send tweets and Facebook posts urging DHS Secretary Johnson to support Nepal! We also ask that you help promote the Thunderclap via your organization’s social media accounts on Facebook and Twitter.

Thank you!
