Take a 'Selfie' for Administrative Relief and Join us at the #ALLin4RELIEF Town Hall!

On June 30th, President Obama signaled to the nation that he is ready to take executive action to keep families together. After years of fighting for humane and real immigration reform, this is welcome news for our communities, who hope that Presidential relief can provide an end to deportations and the ability to work legally.

New Yorkers for Real Immigration Reform, a campaign coordinated by the New York Immigration Coalition, is gearing up for a big town hall on Tuesday, August 26th at Baruch College where immigrant New Yorkers, their families, friends and allies, joined by advocates and elected officials, will come together to share how deportations have impacted their communities and why the time is right for President Obama to provide administrative relief.

When: Tuesday, August 26th, 2014
Time: 6PM
Location: Mason Hall at Baruch College
17 Lexington Avenue (Entrance at East 23rd St)
RSVP to info@thenyic.org

We call on each of you to spread the word about the townhall!

And in the next two weeks leading up to the townhall, we invite you to join us on social media to tell the President that we are #ALLin4Relief.

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN DO THIS WEEK:

  • Download THIS sign, fill in why you urge the President to provide administrative relief to undocumented communities.
  • Take a selfie and share your photo on twitter, facebook, and instagram using the hashtag #Allin4Relief.
