Livestream: Preparing for Legalization

There was an enormous amount of interest in the report presentation & discussion that the NYIC is having this Wednesday, December 18th at 11am on preparedness for immigration reform in New York State, that we've decided to livestream it!

If you aren't able to attend the event in person, stay tuned to the livestream starting 11AM and tweet your thoughts with the hashtag #NYICprepares.

Event Description: Congress may still be stalling on immigration reform, but advocates are taking steps to prepare our communities for the future! Join the New York Immigration Coalition and the Center for Community and Ethnic Media for a presentation of an NYIC-commissioned report prepared by Professor Katherine Fennelly called "Preparing for Legalization."
We will discuss “lessons learned” from prior efforts, and recommendations for how New York State can prepare our communities in 2014 and beyond.
