Smartphone Apps Help You Figure Out if You Are DACA-Eligible

Many busy immigrants who might be eligible to apply for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) have not done so because they are afraid they are not eligible. They may not want to waste a day’s pay to go to a lawyer to be screened. Now, there is a new App for smartphones that can help you self-screen for DACA eligibility. This way you will know before you go to an agency of lawyer if you are likely to qualify.

The App is not a substitute for legal advice, but it is extremely useful in helping you make the decision to apply. It is available for Google or Apple for free. It was prepared by immigration lawyers and reviewed by major non-profit legal service providers.

Here is a video explaining how it works.
