Join Our Campaign to Pass Immigration Reform!
The gridlock in DC is lifting! On Monday, a bipartisan group of senators released a proposal to overhaul the nation’s immigration laws, and the following day, the President released his own framework for reform. Clearly, the momentum toward legislation is building!
But there’s still so much to do to keep the momentum going, to make sure we’re moving in the right direction, to change the tenor of the debate and bring real relief to immigrant families. We need YOU to help us win the kind of immigration reform our communities deserve—fair, smart, and reflective of our values as a nation that honors family and respects the inherent worth and dignity of all human beings.
This week the New York Immigration Coalition and its partners launched New Yorkers for Real Immigration Reform, a statewide campaign calling on Congress and the President to pass meaningful reforms that will finally end the suffering of immigrant families. Our campaign will tell the stories of New York’s immigrant families and workers who are such a vital part of our communities and who have borne the heartbreaking burden of our broken immigration system.

Together, we must seize this historic opportunity and hold the President and Congress accountable to their promises.
NOW is our chance to make our demands heard as we work to pass commonsense immigration reform and finally provide workable solutions for our communities and the nation!
And this is where you come in: GET INVOLVED!

We’ve been working toward this moment for a long time--registering voters, building power in our communities, highlighting the injustices of our immigration system, and not giving up against great odds.
