Education RFP's to Support NYIC Members in Good Standing

Monday, March 17, 2014

Dear NYIC Members,

The NYIC is pleased to release two Request for Proposals (RFPs) to support participation in the Education Program. The first RFP supports immigrant groups' participation in the Education Collaborative's ongoing advocacy work through the following school year. The second provides stipends for groups to give in-school workshops on the college process to immigrant parents and/or students in conjunction with the college guide, which was developed in collaboration with member groups.

All NYIC members in good standing are eligible to apply for either one or for both. Applications are due April 17th and decisions will be announced by May 12th, 2014. Proposals will be evaluated by an independent review committee ineligible for funding. Please see the RFPs for further details. Note that participation in the NYIC’s education advocacy work is not limited to those groups who are successful in the proposal process.

If you have any questions, please contact Kim Sykes at KSykes@thenyic.org or 212.627.2227 ext 232.

Thank you,

The NYIC Education Team
